19-22 October 2023- Mentari Alam EKO (M) Sdn Bhd (MAEKO) and Urbancubes Sdn Bhd are joining forces to revolutionize waste management in Pulau Indah, Selangor. MAEKO, renowned for its cutting-edge sustainable food waste technology, will deliver innovative solutions, while Urbancubes, recognized for its leadership in integrated and sustainable facilities management, will oversee operations and implementation.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Pulau Indah’s journey toward achieving excellence in sustainable waste management. The signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) signifies both parties' shared commitment to innovation, research, and education in the field. The impact of this initiative is expected to extend well beyond Pulau Indah, setting a benchmark for responsible environmental practices across Malaysia.

The official document exchange ceremony will be held on October 21, 2023, at the Selangor International Expo (Medic), in conjunction with the 7th Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS 2023). The event will be led by Ms. Chelsea See, Chief Executive Officer of MAEKO, and Mr. Shahrulnizam Amad, General Manager of Urbancubes Sdn Bhd . The ceremony will be witnessed by Yang Berhormat Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade & Mobility.
